ALKALI RESERVE
Purpose of the test
This test is performed to determine the alkali reserve of paper, solid board or folding board.
Procedure
Determine the alkali reserve according to the standard to the nearest 0,1 mol/kg.
Report 2 measures in mol/kg, their mean and standard deviation calculated to 3 significant figures.

Nr. of samples
ca. 6 g of paper, sufficient for two measurements and possibly for one or two additional tests.

Levels
Level 1: < 1.00 mol/kg
Level 2: 2.00÷3.00 mol/kg
Reporting
Report 2 valid results of measurements in mol/kg, their mean and their standard deviation. All to three significant digits.
