FLAT CRUSH RESISTANCE after Laboratory fluting (CMT)
Purpose of the test
This test is performed to determine the flat crush resistance of a liner after laboratory fluting.
Procedure
Operate the instrument in accordance with ISO 7263-1 and the manufacturer’s instructions.
Leave the samples exposed for 24 h to 23°C and 50% R.H., according to ISO 187.
Cut 10 test pieces 12,7×152 mm² in size from the middle of each sheet, edge strips are not to be used.
Determine the CMT crushing value 30 minutes after fluting the sample.
Report 10 measures in N, their mean and standard deviation calculated to 3 significant figures.
