RELATIVE HUMIDITY of a TESTING ROOM
Purpose of the test
This test is performed to determine the Relative Humidity in % of the testing laboratory.
Procedure
Weigh the foil and the conditioned paper sheet separately to an accuracy of 0,001 g and record the results on the form provided.
Measure and record the temperature and relative humidity in the testing room on the weighing occasion.
The relative humidity is calculated using the following formula (format for use in a spreadsheet):
(((Client paper – CL paper) – (Client foil – CL foil))/ Paper moisture factor) + Sample RH
Report the measure in g and on %.
