Purpose of the test
This test is performed to determine the ash residue of paper, solid board or folding board.
Procedure
Determine the ash residue according to the standard to the nearest 0,1 %.
Report 2 measures in %, their mean and standard deviation calculated to 3 significant figures.

Nr. of samples
ca. 10 g of paper, sufficient for two measurements and possibly for one or two additional tests.
No special size
Levels
Level 1: 0,80÷1.40 %
Level 2: 6.00÷7.00 %
Reporting
Report 2 valid results of measurements in %, their mean and their standard deviation. All to three significant digits.
