TENSILE STRENGTH – STRAIN AT BREAK – 20 mm/min

Purpose of the test
This test is performed to determine the tensile strength and strain at break of paper, solid board or folding board.
Procedure
Operate the instrument in accordance with ISO 1924-2 and the manufacturer’s instructions.
Leave the samples exposed for 24 h to 23°C and 50% R.H., according to ISO 187.
Cut 10 samples of 15,0±0,1 mm width, set the test span to 180±1 mm.
Report 10 measures, their mean and standard deviation calculated to 3 significant figures, express the results in µm.
