TISSUE GRAMMAGE
Purpose of the test
This test is performed to determine the weight of tissue paper.
Procedure
Operate the instrument in accordance with ISO 12625-6 and the manufacturer’s instructions.
Leave the samples exposed for 24 h to 23°C and 50% R.H., according to ISO 187.
Check the zero setting of the balance.
Cut 20 test pieces to the required size.
Weigh each piece to your normal precision.
Report 20 measures in g/m², their mean and standard deviation calculated to 3 significant figures.
